Departure for a tour of Buda: the Royal Palace, visit to Mathias Church, in pure Gothic style. Although built between 1255 and 1269 and named Church of Our Lady of the Assumption, tradition has given it the name of King Mathias Corvin, who had his 2 weddings celebrated here, and undertook to enlarge it between 1458 and 1470.

Among its many treasures, reliquaries and sacerdotal vestments, it houses a historical curiosity: a piece of the wedding veil of Empress Elisabeth, or Sissi, who was crowned Queen of Hungary here. Visit the Fishermen's Bastion overlooking the river. Climb Mount Gellért, offering superb views of the city and the Danube. Lunch in a restaurant.                                             

Afternoon guided tour of Pest, a lively shopping district. Seen from the opposite bank of the river, the famous Parliament, this impressive edifice is reminiscent of the Houses of Parliament in London. Begun in 1882, it took over 20 years to build. The result lives up to its ambitions: with 10 inner courtyards and almost 700 rooms, including the magnificent "Dome", everything here is gigantic. Blending elements of Byzantine, Romanesque, Gothic and Oriental styles, the ensemble seems inhabited by the memory of Europe's finest monuments, of which it is in a way the architectural synthesis. In this respect, it is the perfect demonstration of the eclecticism that gives the Hungarian capital its particular charm.

Discover Heroes' Square, adorned with statues of Hungary's founders, and St. Stephen's Basilica.

Departure for the gypsy evening with music and dance at the tipical restaurant "czarda", dinner.

Departure for Austria. First stop: Szentendre, a charming artists' town with churches and art galleries. Free time for a stroll through its picturesque streets. Continuation along the panoramic road to the Visegrad fortress.

At the end, discover Esztergom, former capital of the Hungarian sovereigns. Visit St. Adabert's Basilica, the largest in the country.

Continuation to Vienna, check-in at 3* Vienna hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Departure for the panoramic tour along the famous "Ringstrasse", a sumptuous boulevard that surrounds Vienna's historic center and is lined with the city's most important monuments: the Opera House, the Town Hall and the Museum of Fine Arts. Walk past the Prater. Tour of Vienna's historic center, including St. Stephen's Basilica, the most famous church, St. Ruprechtskirche, Graben Square, Am Hof and Freyung.

Lunch at the restaurant

Afternoon tour of the Hofburg Palace (optional visit to Sissi's apartments, her museum and the Silver Museum), including the "Schweizerhof", the oldest part of the palace and home to the imperial treasury.

Departure for dinner in a typical Grinzing "Heurigen" restaurant, where you can enjoy new wine in a friendly, musical atmosphere.

Return to hotel and accommodation.

After breakfast, departure for Schönbrunn Palace.

Visit Schönbrunn Palace, the "Viennese Versailles", the former summer residence of the imperial court, with its reception halls, the apartments of Maria Theresa and Franz Stephan of Lorraine, and its superb French park.

Departure for a guided tour of Prague's castle district, Hradcany. Overlooking the entire city, Prague Castle is made up of several buildings representing all architectural styles, from Gothic to Baroque. The tour begins with a visit to the Strahov Convent, which houses two libraries containing over 200,000 books. These are the Philosophy and Theology libraries. Then a stroll to Loreto Square, to see the imposing buildings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Czernin Palace and the baroque complex of Our Lady of Loreto, whose facade is topped by an octagonal tower featuring a bulbous bell tower and lantern housing the 27 carillon bells. Arrival at Hradcany Square, surrounded by numerous Renaissance and Baroque palaces. Enter Prague Castle and cross the 3 courtyards. Discover the imposing Gothic Cathedral of St. Vitus. Then, past the former Royal Palace, discover St. George's Basilica, a superb Romanesque building with a Baroque facade.

Continuation of the guided tour of the Baroque district of Malá Strana. Going down Rue Neruda, one of Prague's most picturesque streets, famous for its bourgeois houses adorned with a variety of signs, walk around the Church of St. Nicholas, a monumental Baroque structure built in the first half of the 18th century by the famous architect Ch. Dientzenhofer and his son K. I. Dientzenhofer. It illustrates the prestige of the Baroque period at its height. During his stay in Prague, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart played the organ in this church (optional visit).

From Malostranske Square, continue on to the Church of Our Lady of Victories, home to the famous Little Jesus of Prague statuette. Crossing the Kampa peninsula, Prague's Venice, we arrive at the Charles Bridge. Prague's oldest bridge, a true jewel of Czech heritage, was built in 1357 and bears the name of its founder, Bohemian King Charles IV.

Departure for the STARÉ MESTO district, Prague's Old Town. Starting from Republic Square, where you'll find the Municipal House, one of Prague's most important Art Nouveau buildings of the early 20th century, and next to it, the Powder Tower, built in the 15th century, with its rich sculptural decorations marking the entrance to Stare Mesto, the Old Town, a guided walk along Železná Street with the Carolinum and Celetná Street, part of the Royal Way. Passing through Ungelt, a merchants' square dating back to Roman times, whose most precious monument is the Granovskys' Renaissance bourgeois house, we arrive at Old Town Square with the Town Hall and its famous 15th-century astronomical clock. Visit the impressive St. Nicholas Church, whose whiteness underlines the majesty of the architecture.

Free afternoon in the New Town - NOVÉ MESTO. We walk from the National Theatre along Národní Street, lined with beautiful Art Nouveau buildings, to the famous Wenceslas Square, a major shopping thoroughfare dominated by the imposing building of the National Museum.
