Flower festivals in Europe

Everywhere in the northern hemisphere, spring is celebrated with flower shows, plant markets, parades and corsos, shows and flower battles. From the Côte d'Azur to the Tyrol, from mimosa to tulips, here's our selection of the most beautiful flower festivals. Add color to your travels...

Mimosa and corsos in bloom

On the Côte d'Azur, it's not a swallow that makes spring, but the mimosa that blooms... in winter!

In February, it's celebrated in Bormes les Mimosas, which opens the spring festivities. And let's not forget the flower parade in Le Lavandou, one of the biggest gatherings on the Var coast. Some twenty decorated floats parade along the seafront. Each float is decorated with between 8,000 and 25,000 fresh flowers!

From Keukenhof to the Netherlands

This is the Keukenhof, the world's largest floral park, located between Amsterdam and The Hague. The magnificent Keukenhof is brimming with tulips, one of the trademarks of the Netherlands.
