D-1: Arrival

Welcome aperitif. Installation in your rooms. Dinner and overnight accommodation.

D-2: D-Day landing beaches (170 km)

We have breakfast. On to La Pointe du Hoc, scene of one of the Allied landing operations in Normandy on June 6, 1944, followed by a visit to the Colleville sur Mer American Cemetery, a place of remembrance overlooking Omaha Beach. Lunch. Visit to the D-Day Museum in Arromanches, including a view of the harbour remains and a moving slide show on D-Day. Return via Gold Beach and Juno Beach. Dinner at the hotel and overnight accommodation.

D-3: Honfleur to Deauville (150 km)

We have breakfast. Direction Honfleur. Visit the town's picturesque old port and the wooden church of Sainte Catherine, listed as a historic monument in 1875 (Optional: boat trip on the Seine Estuary). Lunch. Stroll along "Les Planches", Deauville's boardwalk running the length of the beach. Discover the Villa Strassburger, former home of Gustave Flaubert, or the famous Casino, home of the American Film Festival. Dinner and overnight accommodation.

D-4: Fécamp and Étretat (290 km)

We have breakfast. Departure for Fécamp via the Pont de Normandie, where you'll discover its harbor, France's leading cod port. Located on the Côte d'Albâtre, Fécamp's authenticity and natural charm will win you over. Lunch time. Departure for the Falaises d'Etretat, a romantic theater overlooking the English Channel. The singular shape of its cliffs, whether Manneporte, Porte d'Amont or Aiguille, invites the imagination. Dinner and overnight accommodation.

D-5: Local produce and Caen (140 km)

We have breakfast. Departure for a visit to a cheese factory to discover a monument to French gastronomy. Discover the richness of Calvados, its history and the secrets of its production through a visit to a distillery. Lunch. Return to Caen, nicknamed "the city of a hundred steeples". Panoramic tour of Caen to discover the Men's Abbey, the Ladies' Abbey and the castle, all built under William the Conqueror. Dinner and overnight stay.
