Valencia Day

Departure for the Gulf of Valencia, covered with orange and lemon trees as far as the eye can see and excellent vineyards. Meet your local guide for the day. Guided tour of Valencia, Spain's 3rd largest city with 2,000 years of history: the City of Science with its audacious futuristic architecture, the cathedral built on the site of a mosque and its Miguelete bell tower, the Palacio de la Generalitad, Calle de Caballeros, la Lonja... Horchata tasting. A typically Spanish drink, orchata de chufa is a vegetable milk made from tigernut seeds. It is drunk chilled with a little sugar, making it a very thirst-quenching and pleasant beverage. Its mild almond taste is a real delight! Off to the Albufera Natural Park. Just 10 km from the town. Nature at its purest, like an urban oasis surrounded by rice paddies and forests. A unique marshland, a lagoon separated from the sea by a spit of land has become a fascinating wetland where the flora and fauna surprise the visitor. Paëlla lunch. Stroll along the water's edge on a typical boat (albuferenc). The waters of the lake are calm and shallow, allowing you to enjoy a leisurely cruise and observe the birds and scenery. Return to your hotel.
